Guests log in on the guest Wi-Fi by connecting to the network "UCL-Guest". Then you open a browser window (Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari etc.) and type the web address of the site that you want to visit and press Enter.
You will automatically be redirected to a registration site, where you will have 5 options for approval: Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft or text message login. Samsung mobile phones do not support this text message service.
When you've registered, you will have access to the internet for 12 hours.
If you have problems logging in to "UCL-Guest", try restarting your computer and starting over. If you still have problems after this, contact IT-Servicedesk on 6318 4444.
Guests don't have access to printing and copying.
If you need to connect your PC or other devices to one of UCL's projectors, in most rooms you do so via a HDMI-cable, and some rooms via VGA-cable. If you don't have a HDMI- og VGA-port on your device, you must bring your own adapter.
If you need to log in on one of UCL's computers, you must contact the Student Administration Services to get a username and a password.
At Klostervænget, classrooms are equipped with a desktop-PC. At other locations, there are no PCs available in the classrooms.
On the Desktop on the PC, you'll find the icon for UCL-apps "UCL programmer". Here you'll find shortcuts for apps.
It's not allowed to use UCL's IT-facilities for private, commercial purposes (advertising and such), except for platforms that are specifically meant for that, such as The Bulletin Board at stud.ucl.dk. On all other platforms this kind of information will be considered spam!
