Get UCL student email on your device

It is no longer possible to redirect your UCL email to a private email  account. However, it is quite simple to set it up so that you receive your UCL emails on your smartphone.

Choose your device down below:

What device do you have?

Open "Settings".

Open "Accounts". It can also be called "Users and Accounts".

Select "Add Account".

Select "Exchange" or "Company Account"

Enter username@edu.ucl.dk and click "Configure manually"

Your username might be different from you email-address.

You can find your username here: https://netid.ucl.dk

You now have to fill in / change a couple of settings

1. Under domain\username you need to type:

AU\username (the same username you just typed in front of @edu.ucl.dk)

2. Under server you need to type:

outlook.office.com

Your username might be different from you email-address.

You can find your username here: https://netid.ucl.dk

Press ”Next” or ”OK”

Your email has now been setup. Open your mail-app, and now you should be able to see your emails.

Open "Settings"

Select "Accounts & Passwords"

Select "Add account"

Select account type "Microsoft Exchange"

Type username@edu.ucl.dk and select "Next"

Your username might be different from you email-address.

You can find your username here: https://netid.ucl.dk

Select "Log in"

Type your password and "Log on"

If you haven't changed your password yet, please follow the instructions at: https://netid.ucl.dk

Turn on "Mail" as shown and select "Save"

Your email has now been setup. Open your mail-app, and now you should be able to see your emails.
